Created from the original design drawing in the William Morris Gallery archive, this design was intended for woven double cloth and features a motif of leaves, stems, rose sprays, acorns, and doves. Dove & Rose Spring Garden wallpaper features a harmonious blend of nature’s elements, with bold, oversized leaves in muted greige and beige-toned grey, perfectly contrasted with mustard yellow and pale pink adjacent leaves. Found alongside flowing vines of white and beige, extending from beautifully iconic Morris flowers, creating the perfect perching area for couples of intricately designed doves in light peach, white and sage green, all laid upon a deep sage green backdrop.
