With a lifelong passion for textiles — hand-sewing with her great-aunt as a child — Sarah is an AMUSF-trained upholsterer and soft furnisher who has brought her craft to life at Stripe Interiors since 2010.
Before launching the business, she worked in global sourcing for major retailers including Bloomingdale’s and Target, travelling extensively with their buying teams across Africa, India, China and Chile. That hands-on experience with makers, materials and international production now informs her approach to every project — blending creativity, craftsmanship and quiet elegance in homes across the UK. She understands how good design works — not just how it looks, but how it feels, functions, and lasts. Clients value her calm, collaborative approach and her instinct for pulling together a scheme that feels effortlessly “right.”
